Location: Sonoma, California
The house is situated on a beautiful two-acre parcel near downtown Sonoma. The original ranch-style house suffered from dark rooms, oppressive ceiling heights and spatial disorganization. The extensive remodel and addition brought the clarity, character and natural light sorely lacking in the original. It also created more livable space, a better home for a growing art collection, and a better relation to the spectacular gardens.
